Our Mission
To worship, exalt, and make known God and His Son Jesus Christ and to equip individuals for ministry.
Our Goal
To share our love and faith with the lost and to preach the gospel everywhere making disciples of all men.
One of the most powerful ways people get to know God is through the lives of others. Christian life styles and the way we deal with difficult situations and people, are things the world never let us live down. Most of the time, the only Bible people will read is the life that a Christian displays. God calls and chooses different people in ministry, with many talents, to aid others in a variety of ways. Christians get so good at fixing others that we omit finding time to fix the cracks in our own lives. We learn to cover it with a smile and say, “It’s not that bad, I’ll take care of it later. Praise God, because it could be worst.”
We start out in ministry, more than a conqueror and eager to work. We spent a lot of time reading the word, fasting and praying. These are the things that we felt kept us strong in the faith. We kept the enemy under our feet and those delicate areas of our lives, remained cracked, but not broken!
As time went on, we were confronted with challenging tribulations. Challenges not from the world, but from within the church! Some of the people, who walked close with us in ministry, were no longer there! Friends we thought we could confide in and trusted, started turning in a different direction. Why? We began to leave church worst than we came. The cracked pieces of our lives began to fall apart in hundreds of pieces. We debated within ourselves, who should we turn to? The pastor – No! No! What would he think of me? I know – another sister or brother. Maybe the deacon or the mothers would show compassion and understand. No, the deacon’s brother is the mother’s cousin who is the pastor’s sister. So we held it within, hoping that it would get better.
Eventually, those unresolved challenges greatly disturbed us and began to separate us from the anointing of God. It didn’t mean we no longer operated in our talents and gifts, it meant we operated without the anointing. Every now and then the Holy Spirit needs an open and willing vessel to bless God’s people, so it would fall UPON us. For the spirit that once dwelt IN us will not live in just any condition. We became wounded, discouraged and in need of a breakthrough. We realized we could not fix it alone and we were not going out like that!
No matter what your Christian background is (or isn't), we hope you'll join us for worship service and Bible study. Here at Jubilee Life Center, you'll be welcomed by everyone. Our worship service starts at 10am every Sunday morning. We also have words of inspiration on Tuesday night and Bible study on Wednesday night. We hope to see you there!
You won't leave like you came, in Jesus Name!
